The “Law of a Big Big Beautiful bill”, a massive tax and immigration bill to finance much of the agenda of President Donald Trump, will add $ 2.4 billion to the deficit during the next decade, according to the budget office of the non -partisan Congress.
The CBO published new estimates about the legislation on Wednesday when Focus resorts to the Senate, where a handful of Republican members express their concern about the deficit and changes in Medicaid.
The budget office is projecting 10.9 million more people will not be safe in 2034 due to changes in medical care.
The White House preventively defended the bill just before the launch of the CBO, with the deputy director of Cabinet Stephen Miller accusing the non -partisan office of being “left -handed” and promoting legislation as a “draft law of dreams.”
